Personal information is being collected by Swoogo on behalf of Global DMC Partners. This information includes attendee name, company name, address, phone number and email address. Personal data will not be collected from you that is not needed in order to provide and oversee registration services to you. 

The information will be used to email Connection event-related information, provide customer service, manage your housing and activity reservations, and create name badges. Your Name & Company Name will be shared in advance with attending DMCs and Sponsors. Basic contact information will only be shared with the DMCs and Sponsors that you have an appointment with, and it is to be used for follow-up purposes only.  

Attendee information will be stored indefinitely for the purposes of historical reporting and future communication from Global DMC Partners. Notes entered  for the purposes of the one-on-one appointments will be shared with Global DMC Partners. 

All attendees will have access to a mobile app to access all event information. The attendee list in the app will include your name, title, company name and city/country. To be listed in the attendee list, you will need to opt-in during the registration process. 

By attending Connection, you will enter an event where photography, audio, and video recording may occur. 

By clicking “Yes, I consent” below, you agree to grant to Global DMC Partners, the host hotel and DMC and their authorized representatives the permission to record on photography film and/or video, pictures and/or recordings of your participation in Connection.  You further agree that any or all of the material photographed or filmed may be used, in any form, as part of any future promotional purposes, telecasts, advertising, social media, or other printed and electronic materials used to promote Global DMC Partners and the host hotel and DMC.

The following standards are expected to be complied with at all times while attending GDP’s
Connection. Non-compliance can result in being designated as ineligible to attend future GDP
events. 

Participation at Functions

• Adhere to your meeting schedule 
• Attend ALL functions associated with the meeting 
• Schedule/attend a minimum of 8 appointments with DMCs, Strategic Partners or Sponsors

Appropriate Behavior at Activities Involving Alcohol 

• Reasonable consumption of alcohol is permitted during the Connection if you are at least 21 years of age. 
• Consumption of alcohol outside of the Connection events listed on the agenda is a personal choice and treated as a personal expense. 
• Consumption of alcohol, at the Connection, should not negatively reflect upon yourself and further not impair your ability to fully participate in the activities the next day.
