Evening Events:

  • Thursday Night: Business Casual

  • Saturday Night: Dressy Fun! Still a casual evening (not a gala/formal dress event), but if you wanted to dress up a little bit more, this would be the night to do it!

We're excited to offer attendees the chance to give back while in Lisbon. We are supporting Kibera With Love, a non-profit organization founded in 2012 by Marta Baeta, a Portuguese volunteer who first set foot in Kibera—one of the largest slums in the world located in Nairobi, Kenya—the project has grown into a beacon of hope for over 70 children and more than 50 families. The mission is simple yet powerful: to break the cycle of poverty through education, care, and community support. You'll hvae the opportunity to meet Marta at the Connection and purchase products if interested that were made by the children of Kibera. There are many items they could use to help the local community and we are asking Connection attendees to bring items with them to help support Kibera with Love. Items that they would benefit from include:

  • Acrylic paints
  • Canvases for painting
  • Brushes
  • Charcoal pencils for drawing
  • School backpacks
  • Reams of white A4 paper
  • Laptops
  • Story books (kids, teenagers, and adults)
